Thinking about booking a boudoir session but have a million questions running through your head? Totally normal!

​

Whether you’re nervous about getting naked, have no idea what to wear, or are wondering what the heck you’re supposed to do in front of the camera, I’ve got you covered.

Here are some of the questions I get asked the most!

 

I’VE NEVER DONE BOUDOIR BEFORE. IS THAT OKAY?

​

Girl, YES! Most of my clients are first-timers, so please don’t feel like you need any experience.

You don’t need to be a model, know your angles, or have a clue what you’re doing. That’s literally what you have me for!

I’ll walk you through everything, and I promise it’s not nearly as intimidating as you’re imagining.

​

DO I HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO POSE?

​

Absolutely not! I will guide you through every single pose, from your head to your toes.

I’ll even demonstrate poses myself when needed, so you never have to stand there wondering what to do with your hands. Your only job is to show up and have some fun. I’ve got the rest!

​

DO I HAVE TO GET NAKED?

​

Nope! This is YOUR experience, and you get to decide how much or how little you want to show.

Some women love wearing lingerie, others prefer an oversized sweater or their favorite jeans, and some want to get a little more adventurous.

There is no pressure to do anything you’re uncomfortable with. Ever.

WHAT IF I’M INSECURE ABOUT MY BODY?

​

First of all, you’re not alone. Almost every woman who steps in front of my camera has something she’s self-conscious about. Stretch marks, cellulite, loose skin, scars, curves, wrinkles… girl, welcome to being human! You don’t have to lose weight, tone up, or change a single thing about yourself to deserve beautiful photos. My job is to help you feel comfortable, find flattering poses and lighting, and show you how incredible you already are.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

​

Whatever makes you feel amazing!

Lingerie is always fun, but don’t overthink it. Bodysuits, oversized sweaters, button-up shirts, favorite jeans, and even a simple sheet can photograph beautifully.

Once you’re booked, I’ll help you plan your outfits and choose pieces that work well for your session.

And please don’t stress over the size on the tag. How something fits and makes you feel is way more important than the number.

IS HAIR AND MAKEUP INCLUDED?

​

Yes! Professional hair and makeup are included in my full luxury boudoir experiences.

I want you to feel pampered from the very beginning, so you can relax and enjoy having someone else take care of you for a change.

Please note that seasonal mini sessions are a separate experience and typically do not include hair and makeup. You’ll need to arrive camera-ready for those.

WHERE DO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

​

I’m based in Columbia, Tennessee, but I’m a traveling photographer and love finding unique locations! Depending on the type of session you’re dreaming of, we can create something beautiful at an indoor rental location, outdoors, or even somewhere a little adventurous.

Creeks, waterfalls, beautiful natural settings, and moody indoor spaces are some of my favorites.

Have a location or idea in mind? Tell me about it! I love getting creative.

WILL MY PHOTOS BE POSTED ONLINE?

​

Only if you give me permission!

Your privacy is incredibly important to me, and I completely understand that boudoir photography can be very personal. Every client featured on my website or social media has given permission for their images to be shared.

If you’d rather keep your photos completely private, that’s absolutely fine with me. This experience is for YOU, and I will always respect your decision.

DO YOU EDIT THE PHOTOS?

​

Of course! Every image you purchase is professionally edited.

My goal is to make you look like the very best version of yourself, not turn you into somebody else.

I pay attention to lighting, skin tones, temporary blemishes, and those little distractions that can take away from an otherwise gorgeous image. I want you to recognize yourself in your photographs and love what you see.

WHAT IF I START MY PERIOD BEFORE MY SESSION?

​

Girl, it happens! Having your period doesn’t automatically mean we need to cancel your session.

We can still create beautiful images, and you’re always welcome to choose outfits and poses that help you feel comfortable.

If you’re feeling unwell or have concerns, just reach out so we can talk through your options.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND?

​

I know trying something new can be nerve racking, and sometimes having your favorite hype girl nearby makes all the difference! If you’re hoping to bring someone along for support, please check with me ahead of time so we can make sure it works with the location and session setup.

The most important thing is that everyone feels comfortable and the experience stays focused on YOU.

HOW MUCH DOES A BOUDOIR SESSION COST?

​

My full boudoir experiences begin at a total investment of $2,000.

A $500 session fee is required to reserve your date. This covers your personalized photography experience and is separate from your image collection.

Image collections begin at $1,500, and you’ll have the opportunity to choose the images and products you love.

I believe in being upfront about pricing, so you’ll know what to expect before booking.

ARE DIGITAL IMAGES INCLUDED IN THE SESSION FEE?

​

Digital images are purchased separately from your $500 session fee.

After your experience, you’ll have the opportunity to select an image collection that fits what you’re looking for.

I offer digital images and beautiful professional products so you can choose how you’d like to enjoy your photographs.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?​

 

Yes, babe! All of my full boudoir experiences are set up with a payment plan to make things easier and ensure everything is taken care of before your big day.

 

Your $500 session fee is due when booking to officially reserve your date. After that, we’ll set up a personalized payment plan directly through me for your chosen image collection.

 

Your payment amounts will depend on which collection you choose and how far in advance you book. All payments must be completed at least one week before your session.

 

No stressing over a big balance on the day of your shoot. Just show up, get pampered, and enjoy your experience!

HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION?

​

Easy, babe!Start by filling out my contact form and telling me a little about yourself and what you’re envisioning.I’ll personally reach out so we can chat about the experience, answer your questions, and go over the details. Once we’ve chosen your date and your session fee is paid, you’re officially on my calendar!

WHAT IF I’M NERVOUS?

​

Then you’re exactly like most of the women who book with me!

You might show up with butterflies in your stomach, but my goal is to make you feel so comfortable that you forget you were ever nervous. We’ll laugh, probably do some ridiculous poses together, and have a whole lot of fun. And when you see your photos? I hope you walk away wondering why you didn’t do this sooner.
